Here it is, my turmeric face mask to lighten hyperpigmentation naturally.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp All-purpose Flour
  • 1/5 Lemon squeezed
  • 4-5 tsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Honey (optional)

Combine all ingredients together and whisk well.

Disclaimer: Test the mask on a part of your skin prior to applying it all over to make sure that you don’t have any allergic reaction to any of the ingredients.

Application:

Start off by cleansing your face and patting your skin dry with a towel. Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face and neck. Make sure not to apply the mask to close to your eyebrows or eyes. Let it sit 15-20 min. You’ll notice that your face and neck will get very stiff, this is normal so don’t worry about that. To remove the mask, use warm water and your face cloth. Again, turmeric will stain everything so be careful.

I apply this mask a maximum of 3x a week and always apply it at night. Please make sure to apply a high SPF Sunscreen prior going outside during the day as this treatment will make your skin a bit more sensitive to the sun and we want to make sure that you’re not getting more pigmentation due to the sun.

I’d love to hear if this mask has worked for you, you can use the hashtag #kcturmericmask to share yours before and after pics. And don’t forget to check out my youtube video here and share it with your friends.

Hugs,

Kat
